Funeral services have been scheduled for 8-year-old Kimbra Moore, who died Tuesday after a stray bullet penetrated her south Wichita home and struck her as she slept.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway in Wichita. Her funeral follows Friday at Light House Community Church, 3401 E. 47th St. South. Services start at 2 p.m.

Kimbra, a third-grader at Enterprise Elementary, is survived by parents Cheris Moore and Anthony Ysusi; siblings William Moore, 6, and Ginnifer Sullivan, 4; grandparents Rose Lair and Fred and Isabel Ysusi; and several aunts and cousins.

Plans to set up a memorial fund in Kimbra’s name are under way, a Broadway Mortuary spokesman said Wednesday. Condolences may be left at www.cozinememorial.com.

Broadway Mortuary is handling arrangements.
