Key bats lift Wingnuts over St. Paul

David Peralta went 4 for 5 with two runs and two doubles while teammate Jake Kahaulelio went 3 for 5 with a home run to lead the Wichita Wingnuts to a 6-3 win over the St. Paul Saints on Sunday at St. Paul, Minn.

Derek Blacksher picked up the win for the Wingnuts, allowing three earned runs in 6 2/3 innings while striking out four and walking two. Blacksher improved to 10-5 on the season.

The Wingnuts tied their 2009 franchise record with their 58th win of the season.
