Wichita businesspeople: Their toughest jobs and what they learned

Labor Day, which is Monday, is a holiday on which workers are celebrated for the jobs they do.

But let’s face it: Many of us have had jobs that provoked more tears than cheers. Some were physically hard. Some were mentally draining. Some just seemed to be jinxed from the start.

Still, such work experiences can provide useful lessons about work and about ourselves.

We asked six Wichitans to share their stories about the hardest jobs they ever had and what they learned from the experience.
