Cappy the Goofball, a 10-month-old male German shepherd mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

What’s happening? I just love to shake things up. I enjoy lots of fun activities. Like to get exercise? So do I. I am housetrained, I know how to sit, and I enjoy playing fetch.

Also available:

• Hansen the Goofball, 5-year-old male hound mix

I’m a happy, happy guy that loves to run and romp and play and be loved. The kind folks here figured me out and realized that I’m a smart dog that already knows how to sit on command. So, if you want a cute dog with brains to fill your days with love and fun, choose me.

• Magic the Personal Assistant, 3-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

You’re working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I’ll hold the pages down for you. Watching TV? I’ll just plop in your lap so you can pet me. I love an orderly household, don’t you? I’ll help you with all your chores, and I’ll help you relax when we’re done. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without me.

•  Addycyn the Sidekick, 3-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

Want a furry feline to keep you company? Well, here I am. I love attention. I love being by myself, too. I’m just all-around sweet. I think you should take a chance on me. As you can see, I’m pretty, too.

•  Lilly the Chinchilla, female chinchilla, age unknown

Hi, I’m Lilly. I’m a chinchilla, which means I’ll be a little more active than a hamster or a guinea pig. I really enjoy running around my cage and playing around. You should come down to KHS and visit with me.
