Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff to speak at KSU

Gen. Martin Dempsey, Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman, will be the guest speaker for Kansas State University’s Landon Lecture on Oct. 1.

The 11:30 a.m. event, held at McCain Auditorium, is open and free to the public.

Dempsey, a New Jersey native, is a 1974 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

KSU has been holding the lecture series for more than 40 years, in honor of former Kansas Gov. Alfred M. Landon.
