Wichita State’s volleyball team swept North Dakota State on Sunday to finish its first weekend of play 2-1.
Ashley Andrade led the Shockers with 11 kills and compiled a .421 attack percentage in the 25-18, 15-16, 25-23 wins at the NIU Invitational in DeKalb, Ill.. Emily Adney added 10 kills. Elizabeth Field and Sam Sanders both contributed eight.
Setter Chelsey Feekin recorded five kills and an .833 attack percentage, in addition to 33 assists and seven digs.
Jenni Fassbender had 11 kills for North Dakota State (0-3).
WSU opens the Shocker Volleyball Classic against Colorado State on Thursday at Koch Arena.
