Wichita police said they arrested two juveniles Friday that they suspect are involved in a series of burglaries.

Sgt. Scott Brunow said police were called to the 700 block of South Poplar at 5:15 p.m. Friday by a 27-year-old woman, who told them she noticed someone running from the back of her house.

Brunow said police found evidence of forcible entry at the woman’s house.

Police arrested two males, 15 and 16 years old. He did not release their names.

Brunow said there have been other burglaries in the area and the juveniles are “suspected in those.”

An investigation continues, he said.
