Sam’s Club is headed to 29th and Maize

Sam’s Club has applied to the city to annex and rezone the northeast corner of Maize Road and W. 29th Street in Wichita in anticipation of building a new Sam’s Club.

The company said its Sam’s Clubs in Kansas average 132,000 square feet and mean about 200 jobs.

This would be the third Sam’s Club in Wichita and the eighth in Kansas.

The company didn’t provide information on when construction might begin.
