How could anyone, with any ounce of conscience or intelligence, want to see Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan in the White House? They have no regard for the poor, middle class, women, minorities, students or the elderly.
At least Ryan has some ideas for the economy, which is more than the Democrats have had. They resort to the usual scare tactics, and we are such a entitlement society that we believe them.
The Romney-Ryan plan strictly limits Medicare, Medicaid, social programs, and benefits the rich. However, it aggressively spends on defense and reduces the deficit twice as much as the competition. Guess who aggressively cuts defense, keeps social programs, and benefits the poor?
I find it rather amusing that as The Eagle gets more and more liberal, the state of Kansas gets more and more conservative.
By all means, we should hurry and elect extreme religious fanatics to public office. You can see how well this works in the Middle East.
Would someone please explain to me why USD 259 has a full-time lobbyist, what her salary is, and what she has done for our school district?
I'm glad that Obamacare is kicking in. Now all of the bad drivers in town will be able to get their eyes checked. They obviously can't see speed limit signs, stop lights, stop signs, the turn signal lever in their vehicle and the painted lines on the street.
