With the most recent shootings in Texas and at the Burlington Coat Factory in Wichita, the NRA has finally met its goal: enough guns for every purpose. Let’s end all gun sales immediately, as there are plenty around for people to keep killing each other for years to come.

The U.S. needs to clean up its own problems and protect its own borders before it plays policeman of the world. Also, we’re broke.

How can conservative, far-right Christians accept Mitt Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, who subscribes to atheist Ayn Rand’s objectivism philosophy? Informed academics reject Rand’s philosophy, which advocates selfish egoism and rejects altruism and welfare of others. What edition of the New Testament is Ryan reading?

Hats off to the Kansas Star Casino for helping out all of the children and teachers in Sumner County with back-to-school clothes and supplies. I’m sure glad we aren’t helping out the children and teachers in Sedgwick County. Right? You self-righteous people.

My friend and I would like to add synchronized treadmill to the Olympics.
