The McAdams Golf Club will host its annual golf tournament this weekend at Auburn Hills.
More than 80 golfers from Wichita and around the Midwest are expected to attend the 82nd annual event, which runs from Friday through Sunday in Wichita. Proceeds will fund scholarships for high school students and a summer golf program for children, sponsored by the McAdams Golf Club.
The club will host a practice round of golf at noon Friday at the course, 443 S. 135th St. West, located south of Maple in west Wichita.
The two-day tournament starts at 8 a.m. Saturday. Play continues Sunday morning at 8.
The event is open to the public.
In-person registration is from 6-8 p.m. Friday at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 2098 S. Airport Road, at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport. The cost is $160, which includes green fees, cart rental and dinner.
