Vaccination clinic for students is Saturday

The Sedgwick County Health Department will host a vaccination clinic Saturday where children can receive the shots they need to go back to school.

The clinic is 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Health Department, 2716 W. Central in Wichita.

Vaccinations are free to uninsured children age 18 and younger; proof of income is required. Most insurance will be accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid. Parents should bring their children’s shot record to the clinic.

Children attending the clinic will get free school supplies while supplies last. Parents may be eligible to receive a free Tdap vaccination while supplies last.
