Bruce Webers first nonconference schedule at Kansas State will include neutral-court games against Gonzaga and Florida, a road game against George Washington, six home games against mid-major opponents and an appearance in the NIT Season Tip-Off.
Following exhibition games against Washburn and Emporia State, Weber will coach his first official game at Bramlage Coliseum on Nov. 9 against North Dakota. The Wildcats will play two yet-to-be undetermined teams at home in the opening rounds of the NIT Season Tip-Off on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13. If K-State wins both games, it will advance to the tournaments final rounds at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The Wildcats will face George Washington on Dec. 8, Gonzaga in Seattle on Dec. 15 and Florida on Dec. 22 at the Sprint Center. They will round out their nonconference schedule with games against North Florida, South Carolina Upstate, Texas Southern, UMKC and South Dakota at Bramlage Coliseum.
