Two armed men robbed a southeast Wichita bar just after closing time Thursday morning, police said.

Only two employees remained at One Place Bar at 4859 E. Harry, near Oliver, when one of them went out the back door to take trash to a container at about 2:30 a.m., Lt. Doug Nolte said. He was confronted by an armed man who forced him to the ground at gunpoint.

The second robber went through the back door and demanded money from a female employee inside, Nolte said. They left in a newer model Suburban and drove south on Oliver.

Both suspects were black men, the employees told police. One was about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He wore all black clothing and carried a black handgun.

The second suspect is about 5-feet-9 and 150 pounds. He wore a white T-shirt and held a chrome revolver.
