Intrust Bank Arena lost about $47,600 in its second quarter but is about $753,275 in the black for the year through June.

Sedgwick County Assistant Manager Ron Holt gave his quarterly report to commissioners Wednesday.

There were 15 public performances at the arena during the second quarter, five less than in the same time period last year, Holt said.

Tom Petty, Miranda Lambert, Barry Manilow and Nickelback all played concerts during the second quarter.

Through June, there have been 52 events and 64 performances at the arena.

Upcoming events include the Oklahoma City Thunder game against the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 24 and a concert by Carrie Underwood on Oct. 27. Eric Church will perform Dec. 8.

Wichita State University’s men’s basketball team will play the University of Southern Mississippi on Dec. 22.
