Police are still looking for a woman who was kidnapped from a friends house late Sunday afternoon.
An 84-year-old man told police the woman, 46-year-old Faith Puga, was visiting him at his house in the 400 block of West 19th Street when a man knocked on the door at about 5:20 p.m. Sunday, Lt. Steve Kenney said. Puga looked at the homeowner and shook her head, saying he shouldnt answer the door.
The visitor forced his way through the screen door and knocked the elderly man down, Kenney said, injuring both of his arms. He then grabbed Puga and forced her to go with him.
They drove off in her car, which is a gray Cadillac de Ville with the Kansas license plate 149 DER. The suspect is a black man in his 40s who is six feet tall and has a medium build.
