Fort Riley aircraft damaged in storm

— High winds in a recent storm damaged six aircraft at Fort Riley’s Marshall Army Airfield.

Fort Riley officials said Thursday that no one was hurt in the incident Wednesday night.

The First Infantry Division’s Combat Aviation Brigade aircraft were being readied for training flights when they were damaged in the storms. A trailer and several buildings on the airfield also received minor damage.
