A NetApp employee will be one of three people from across the country to receive a national award during an American Red Cross blood drive today at an east-side Walmart.
Jon Beadles will receive the Ernie Keebler Goodness Award from Keebler and the Red Cross for donating 55 pints of blood and organizing blood drives at NetApp for the past four years.
Beadles will be given a crystal trophy, a year’s supply of Keebler cookies and two $500 Walmart gift cards, one for himself and one for his charity of choice, at a ceremony at the Walmart at 11411 E. Kellogg. Keebler is a national sponsor of the Red Cross.
The presentation will be made during a blood drive at the Walmart, which will run from 1 to 4 p.m. today.
