Well-intentioned golfers at Sim Park have been giving food to squirrels, which now just sit hoping for handouts. As a liberal Democrat, I am concerned about these squirrels. I suggest that the city provide peanuts to them daily. And because other squirrels are likely to see the benefits of government-supplied peanuts and discontinue hunting on their own, I suggest we start feeding all of the squirrels in Sim Park.
It seems that there is no outrage with having to show a picture ID when using a credit card. Why would showing a photo ID to vote be any different?
If you don’t want to show a proper ID in order to vote, what are you trying to hide?
If the government taxes you if you don’t have health insurance, that’s taking away our freedoms. But having to pay for a photo ID to participate in one of the most precious freedoms of all – that’s OK?
