The rest of the week will see temperatures climbing into the upper 90s in the Wichita area.

No rain is in the forecast, with sunny skies anticipated through at least the middle of next week.

Winds today will be so light out of the south and southeast that much of the day folks will be able to report the wind speed with the fingers of one hand.

Overnight lows should slip into the upper 60s, forecasters say, with a few clouds and winds staying in the single digits.

Friday should be sunny, with highs in the mid- to upper 90s.

Weekend temperatures will climb close to 100, forecasters say.
