Greteman Group, a Wichita advertising and marketing agency, is in the process of tweaking the agency for the future.
The agency, at 1425 E. Douglas, is updating its identity as a firm focused on the aviation industry. The firm already has about 95 percent of its billings from aviation companies, such as Bombardier Learjet, Flexjet and FlightSafety International. The update just brings the firm’s identity more in line with that and allows it to better pursue aviation clients beyond Wichita, said president Sonia Greteman.
“Every good business should reinvent themselves every five to seven years,” Greteman said.
To add some fun and distinction to the message, the firm has created a character that it calls GiGi, a 60s-ish orange-uniformed, go-go-booted stewardess, who will appear in all company materials as its symbol.
The company’s new website uses a technology called responsive design, where the text and pictures adjust seamlessly to fit different sized screens, from computers to tablets to smartphones.
Also as part of its recent updates and changes, the company promoted senior art director Garrett Fresh and brand director Jennifer Szambecki to its leadership team, the chief operating group. Ashley Bowen Cook was named vice president.
