Ag and energy expo set for Wellington

A free farm agriculture and energy expo is set for Thursday in Wellington.

The event includes lunch, provided by Impact Bank. Speakers are Robin Jennison, Kansas secretary of wildlife, parks and tourism; and Steven Campbell, chairman of the Kansas City Board of Trade.

The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 200 E. Harvey, in Wellington.

It will include displays from such vendors as the Kansas Wheat Commission, Sumner County Farm Bureau Association, NRCS Erosion Trailer, United Country Theurer Auction & Real Estate, Danville Co-op, P&K Equipment, Sumner County Extension office, Shell Oil, Mobile Ag News Now, Prairieland Partners, Southern Kansas Cotton Growers Co-op and KWLS  Radio featuring Larry Steckline.
