A woman damaged a Wichita police car after officers arrested her Friday afternoon for public nudity.
Police Sgt. Scott Brunow said police were called to the Marina Point apartments at 1985 N. Amidon shortly before 6 p.m. Friday over reports of a naked, 35-year-old woman exposing herself to residents.
When officers arrived she was partially clothed, Brunow said. Police arrested the woman and placed her in the back seat of a patrol car. She managed to undress herself while in handcuffs and then kicked out a side rear window of the patrol car.
She was arrested on suspicion of public nudity and criminal damage to property. Brunow said there was “no indication” whether the woman was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
