Accounting

Allen, Gibbs & Houlik, L.C. has announced two additions to its staff: Mary Anne Leftwich has joined the organizational development and family business services department as an associate; Andrea Degenhardt has joined the employee benefits department as an associate.

Banking

Aaron Mayfield has joined Bank of the West’s Wealth Management Group as a private client adviser in Wichita. Mayfield will also serve as market leader for the area.

Education

Carolyn Cole of Emporia was recognized for her commitment to technology education with the Goodheart-Willcox State Advisor of the Year Award.

Government

Cody Bird has joined the city of Derby as a city planner.

Health care

Dorothy Buck, hospice aide at Hospice Care of Kansas’ Wichita office, passed her Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association certification exam.

Linda Miller, RN, and Mary Miller, RN, have joined the Hospice Care of Kansas Wellington team.

Law

The Hutton & Hutton Law Firm had several lawyers recognized by Best Lawyers, a peer-review publication, and Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers. Mark Hutton was named to Best Lawyers for 2012 and Super Lawyers for 2011; Andrew Hutton was named to Best Lawyers for 2012 and Super Lawyers for 2011; J.
