Anthony Hernandez, a 3-year-old Arkansas City boy who went missing Saturday and was the subject of a Kansas Amber Alert, was found unharmed in rural Cowley County Sunday afternoon.
Francisco Lopez, the 33-year-old man identified by authorities as the likely abductor, was arrested outside of Arkansas City, authorities announced via the Amber Alert web site at 5:02 p.m.
Authorities had been looking for Lopez and his white Chevrolet Cavalier, which was found abandoned outside Arkansas City on Sunday morning.
