It’s time for all the people who don’t like our president’s Affordable Care Act to put their names on a list to agree to pay for all the deadbeats who refuse to buy their own insurance. I love to donate to worthwhile charities, but this is not one of them.

So if states can’t even require noncitizens to carry papers to show they’re in the country legally, then how can they require that citizens carry a simple driver’s license?
I am accountable for my mistakes, and I had to learn to live with decisions that carried consequences. I expect others to do the same. That includes foreign nationals who enter this country illegally. These people have to accept the risk of being separated from their children.
