Funeral services have been scheduled for the long-time organizer of the Wichita Toy Run, who died earlier this week in a motorcycle accident.

The service for Holly Potelle, a Rago resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chaparral High School, 467 N. State Road 14 in Anthony. She was killed Monday when she was thrown from her motorcycle after a gust of wind forced her into a ditch near Viola.

Potelle, 55, was well-known in the Wichita motorcycle community for her years of dedication to the Wichita Toy Run, which collects toys for the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots during the Christmas season. She was also a middle-school English teacher at Harper Elementary School.

Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, east of Harper.

Potelle is survived by husband, Jeff Potelle; two sons, Lucien and Grayson; and a daughter, Genevieve.

Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Harper is in charge of arrangements.
