New Sedgwick County public safety director to start July 9

WICHITA — Chad VonAhnen will start July 9 as Sedgwick County’s new public safety director.

VonAhnen has been the director of the Sedgwick County Developmental Disability Organization.

He has worked for the county since 2003.

He replaces Bob Lamkey, who will retire later this month.
