If the U.S. Supreme Court announces a decision against the constitutionality of Obamacare, will employers finally feel safe to freely hire again?

The Wichita River Festival’s outdoor flea market should be held inside Century II, and it’s too far to walk from Century II to WaterWalk for older people.

I want to thank Intrust Bank Arena for making it unbearable to work in my office after 4:30 p.m. Friday because of the blaring live music outside the arena. Don’t we have a noise ordinance?

If I ran my company’s IT upgrade the way 3M ran the Kansas tag offices’ upgrade, I would be looking for a new job. I demand a refund for all the upgrade money I’ve invested over the years.

Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt has paid $644,000 to outside law firms to defend the state’s abortion laws and hired another outside law firm for the school-funding lawsuit. It is evident we have an attorney general who is incapable of representing the state in litigation.

If you are seeing Jesus in the green mold on your bathroom wall, it is high time to clean your bathroom.

As I was passing a young bicyclist wearing headphones, he did not signal or even look around but started to turn left from the right-hand lane and cut me off. The outcome could have been grave, but no one was hurt. Bicyclists don’t know the rules of the road.

I saw a great movie, “For Greater Glory.” Contrary to The Eagle’s mini-review, not even once did I hear a character say, “God save us from these heathens!” or anything similar. Did the reviewer not actually see the movie, or did his overarching prejudices simply blind him to reality?

Moving from a small town in northeast Alabama to this great city has been amazing. The adjustments have been pretty much an easy flow. Thank you to all the kind people of Wichita, Derby and this county for welcoming me.
