Hometown: I was born in Omaha and grew up on a farm outside of the city.

Why you went into this business: I always enjoyed English and speech courses and have a low voice like my father.

Your alternate career choice: Could have been public relations. I thought about law enforcement once.

Favorite type of weather: A cool evening when I can go to sleep with the window open.

What keeps you up at night: Storm warnings will roll me out of bed because I have a NOAA weather radio close to the alarm clock.

One thing few people know about you: I became a grandpa May 29th.
