Families whose children will attend the new — and so far nameless — K-8 school in southeast Wichita can get a sneak peek at the school Thursday evening.

Teachers and staff members will lead tours of the new school, 2055 S. 143rd St. East, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The school features three classroom wings, a media center, computer lab, 800-seat auditorium, music suite, science labs and more. A committee is meeting to come up with naming options for the school, one of five that will open this fall as part of the 2008 bond issue.
