Wichita police detectives arrested a 20-year-old Wichita man in the fatal hit-and-run collision that killed 49-year-old John Fuqua on May 19 on South Seneca, a police official said Friday.

The man has been booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run, police Lt. Joe Schroeder said.

Detectives are still seeking information about a second vehicle that hit Fuqua. It is described as a light- or metallic-colored SUV or crossover-type vehicle last seen near May and Seneca just before the collision. Police ask that anyone with information call 911 or the Accident Follow Up Unit, 268-4131.
