Wichita will be featured on an episode of Travel Channel’s “The Dead Files,” a ghost hunter show scheduled to air at 9 p.m. Friday on Cable Channel 68.

The show features psychic medium Amy Allan and former NYPD homicide detective Steve Di Schiavi investigating places that are said to be haunted. In this episode, the pair studies a house in Delano. They also interview several locals, including “Hatman” Jack Kellogg, owner of Hatman Jack’s at 601 W. Douglas, and show footage they shot in Old Town and at Old Cowtown Museum.

The show is focusing on Delano’s bloody past as a pit stop for cowboys just off the trail.

Crews filmed in Wichita in February. Clips already are posted at www.travelchannel.com.
