Volunteers are invited to bring their voices to Wichita State University’s summer choir. Rehearsals begin June 4 and will be from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at WSU until the show June 28.

“Just show up, and that’s the audition,” Tom Wine, choir director, said. “We will take anyone high school and up. We had about 70 people join last summer.”

The concert theme will be American Folksongs and Spirituals. The choir will learn nine pieces, plus be accompanied by a guest choir. For more information, call 316-978-6125 or e-mail tom.wine@wichita.edu.

Practices will be in C-9, the dance studio in the basement of Duerksen Hall at WSU, 1845 Fairmount.
