This is one of my favorite photos of my mom. It was the day before my wedding and she, my sister and I had the best time getting our nails done and simply spending time together. The three of us aren't able to together much and have that kind of bonding time, so it was such a fun day for us all! We love you, mom!

Jana Hublick with Mom (Mary McCormick). My mom has Stage IV breast cancer, which was diagnosed in October 2010. Approximately 2 weeks after my mom's diagnosis, her husband of 55 years passed away, and she moved to Texas for continuing medical treatment. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2012, and am now undergoing medical treatment. My mom lost her husband of 55 years, had to leave her home and community, and was diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, all within a matter of weeks. She has remained positive, has a rock solid faith, and has been an inspiration not only to her children, but everyone she encounters! I am so blessed to have her in my life, and am so thankful for her positive example as I deal with my diagnosis.

She was dad's caregiver for more than 10 years. Mom will celebrate her 93rd birthday on May 23rd. She is an amazing woman who loves the Lord with all her heart.
