Mary Chapin Carpenter, Chick Corea and Michael Martin Murphey have all just been added to the calendar at the Orpheum Theatre, the venue’s president Jennifer Wright told those gathered Sunday for the sold-out Glen Campbell concert.
Carpenter, a folk and country singer best known for hits such as “Passionate Kisses,” will perform on July 22.
Murphey, a cowboy singer who regularly performs in Wichita, will appear on Aug. 17.
And jazz great Corea is scheduled for Sept. 28 and will appear along with jazz vibraphonist Gary Burton and the Harlem String Quartet.
