Fundraiser set for Saturday at Lawrence-Dumont for child with leukemia

A fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium to help with medical expenses for Maya Flores, a 2-year-old with acute lymphocytic leukemia.

Maya Fest 2012 will include school carnival-like activities, a silent auction and bake sale. A 1-mile race for adults will be held at 10 a.m.
