Law enforcement officials are searching a heavily damaged mobile home park in Oaklawn for one person who still was unaccounted for Sunday morning.

“During an initial search (of the park) last night, there was one person” unaccounted for, said Kristi Zukovich, Sedgwick County communications director.

“We’re trying to determine if the person went to shelter someplace, was just not at home or could be injured,” she said.

“The search was initiated again this morning. … They’re kind of ruling things out to help determine maybe where this person might be.”

Zukovich said she didn’t have any details about the person, such as whether it is a man or woman, the person’s age or address.

The Pinaire Mobile Home Park near 52nd Street South and Clifton was heavily damaged Saturday night. Emergency crews are on the scene and requesting anyone without legitimate business in the area to stay away.
