Wichita Wild smokes Beef 50-47

Marcus Jackson’s 2-yard touchdown run with 3:48 left in the game put the Wild ahead for good in its 50-47 win over the Beef on Friday night in Omaha.

Jackson’s TD — Wichita’s fourth rushing touchdown — broke a 41-41 tie. James Chandler kicked his third field goal of the game with 1:49 remaining to pad the lead.

Jackson had two rushing touchdowns and passed for two more. Tywon Hubbard ran 16 times for 42 yards and a score.

The Wild has won two in a row after losing four to start the season. Omaha is 2-3.
