That puts Marshall in a growing group of coaches, according to the World-Herald.

The newspaper, in a story published on Omaha.com, cited sources that said Nebraska offered Marshall the job at a salary of at least $2 million. The sources said Marshall either turned down the offer or did not show interest.

Nebraska athletic director Tom Osborne released a statement saying he has not offered the job to any coach and would not do so until meeting in person with the candidate, according to the World-Herald..

The World -Herald also said Gonzaga’s Mark Few, Colorado’s Tad Boyle and UCLA’s Ben Howland declined interest in the job.

Oral Roberts coach Scott Sutton interviewed for the position, according to the World-Herald.
