A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and aggravated burglary, police say, after he kicked in the back door of a residence armed with a machete.
At 5:55 a.m. Friday, the man came to a house in the 1800 block of South Emporia where his estranged wife and a male friend were staying, Wichita Police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen said.
Words were exchanged and police were called. There were no injuries.
Police arrested the man outside the house.
