If you were to pick up the United States and look on the underside, it would say “Made in China,” as if it were a cheap dime-store item.

The U.S. Labor Department is putting out statistics making the Obama administration look good. The Labor Department, of course, reports to President Obama. Beware – figures do not lie, but liars do figure.

I wonder what Mother Teresa would say to Barack Obama and Kathleen Sebelius.

This might simplify the mindset of the Brownback administration as it pertains to health care of Kansas residents: Health care begins at conception and ends at birth.

The comic strip “Non Sequitur” is making fun of Christians. On Tuesday the comic figure was shown as a drunken pope or bishop sitting at a bar with his chalice-type cups spilled. It’s easy to make fun of Christians. Try making fun of Islam if you’re feeling brave.

Police and victims of crimes generally want longer sentences and privatizing prisons. Which side are you on?

I am in favor of random drug testing for welfare recipients, as well as for everyone who draws a government check. That includes every legislator, judge, mayor, policeman, dogcatcher and janitor.

I saw the headline that the Kansas Star Casino net $15.6 million in January. When are we going to see the headline that gamblers lost $15.6 million in January at the casino?

There must be a special place in hell for those who choose to desecrate a cemetery and damage, destroy or steal headstones.
