Michael Gardner, who has been senior pastor of First United Methodist Church in downtown Wichita for the past eight years, has been appointed senior pastor of a Kansas City church.
Gardner will assume his duties at Old Mission United Methodist Church near the Country Club Plaza in late June. His first service at Old Mission will be July 1. Gardner’s replacement in Wichita has not yet been named.
A farewell for the pastor is set for June 10 at the church.
