Things got better after that.
WSU finished sixth at the Oak Hills Invitational with Tyler Gann tying for fourth with a 1-under-par 212.
Everybody down there was great to work with and supportive to help out, WSU athletic director Eric Sexton said. Thank you, thank you to (Texas-San Antonio athletic director) Lynn Hickey and the coaching staff for everything they did to help us get settled in and loan us some stuff.
Texas Tech won the tournament for a fourth straight year, carding a 7-over-par 859.
WSU finished with a 22-over 874. Kansas State finished 14th at 897. WSUs Rafael Becker finished in a tie for 25th with a 220. Hunter Sparks shots a 221 to tie for the 30th.
