WICHITA — The parent of Wesley Medical Center said today that its revenue and income were up from the prior year.
HCA, the Nashville, Tenn., owner and operator of the area’s second-largest hospital, said 2011 revenue was $29.6 billion compared with $28 billion in 2010. Net income was $2.4 billion for the year, double its earnings in 2010.
The company said its year-end results included a pretax gain on the acquisition of a controlling interest in an equity investment of $1.5 billion
