Police investigating the disappearance of Lisa Irwin met Thursday with her parents for the first time since Oct. 8 but did not learn anything significant.

Kansas City Police issued a brief statement saying they are hopeful there will be more meetings in the future.

Police spokeswoman Sgt. Stacey Graves said the meeting was with both parents, jointly, along with their attorney. Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin have declined to be questioned separately since the early days of the investigation.

The parents have taped an interview with television’s “Dr. Phil” show that will be aired Friday.

One-year-old Lisa Irwin was reported missing on Oct. 4. Bradley told police she last saw Lisa the evening of Oct. 3.
