WICHITA — HCA, the Nashville, Tenn.-parent of Wesley Medical Center, said today it has completed its acquisition of Galichia Heart Hospital.
“The addition of Galichia Heart Hospital is a great complement to our existing operations and patient services in Wichita,” said Jeffrey Dorsey, president of HCA’s Continental Division, in a news release.
The deal was first announced in December 2010. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Galichia Heart is an 82-bed hospital at 2601 N. Woodlawn in northeast Wichita. HCA also operates Wesley, at 550 N. Hillside, Wesley West Emergency and Diagnostic Center at 8710 W. 13th St. and Surgicare of Wichita, an ambulatory surgery center at 810 N. Lorraine.
