Pity some illegal immigrants who no longer qualify for food stamps? Consider this: Their qualification was based on ignoring some income of illegal immigrants in the household. Income of all U.S. citizens in the household has always counted. I’m glad there’s no more preferential treatment.
No, we should not let the children of illegals starve. We should feed them on the bus going back to Mexico, where they belong until their parents become legal citizens. Obey our laws.
Taking food from the mouths of children, no matter their legal status, is more than unkind or unjust. It is despicable.
It takes a lot of audacity for Mitt Romney to accuse President Obama of being out of touch with the common man while Romney is paying less than 15 percent in taxes on the multimillions he has gained through investments.
Romney paid $3 million in taxes and donated another $3 million to charity in 2010. All you freeloaders should thank him for paying more than his fair share. Meanwhile, Joe Biden gave $369 to charity. Big spender.
Nancy Pelosi claims she has dirt on Newt Gingrich that would eliminate his chances of becoming president. Does she have proof he was born in Kenya?
I don’t have to watch Fox News. All I have to do is read Opinion Line to know what the talking points were last night.
Republicans hate Obama more than they love America.
I’m tired of Joe Paterno, Afghanistan, Gabby Giffords, election debates. I’m just wearing out. On the upside, it seems that Sarah Palin is in hibernation.
If only everyone would live their lives with justice and integrity, as Judge Wesley Brown did, it would be a much better world. Rest in peace knowing you did a great service to all.
What a change in what was the Darryl Starbird Rod and Custom Car Show. The price to get in was affordable. Everyone involved was so friendly to the patrons. It appeared the show went off without any major problems. And it all went to charity. Thanks to Tom Devlin and the others for bringing back this event.
I was proud to be a Shocker fan Saturday when Carl Hall was inducted into the Pizza Hut Shocker Sports Hall of Fame at the WSU basketball game. Hall and his family are truly courageous.
