I’m appalled that there is a need for a translator at a school board meeting with elementary school parents.
Are you kidding me? If you feel strongly enough about an issue that you want to express yourself at a school board meeting in the United States of America, speak English. Otherwise, go to your home country and see how much they care about your thoughts and feelings.
Wichita needs a new sister city. I vote for Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia.
I am offering my expertise in education and the gaming industry to the state of Kansas. My consultant fee is $74,999, which would save the taxpayers a big buck over a previous consultant’s fee. Gov. Sam Brownback can easily reach me. Respectfully, A. Laugher.
I would welcome the opportunity to sign a recall petition for Brownback. The sooner, the better.
You can bet if the Koch brothers wanted slot machines at the dog track, Brownback wouldn’t hesitate to see that it was accomplished. If Brownback and his “tea party” cronies don’t quit doing the bidding of the Koch brothers, they all will soon be looking for other jobs.
Here is a news flash to all my Republican friends: Not all millionaires are job creators.
Sorry, but unions didn’t create job benefits. I worked for 40 years, had sick leave, vacations, insurance and a 40-hour workweek in a safe place, and never once did I or my job have anything to do with unions.
How did you like the president’s class warfare rally Tuesday night?
“Obama sets goal to keep the American dream alive.” What American dream? There isn’t any. No jobs, no money, no food, no homes to live in, high gas prices. Is that his American dream?
So Obama can sing part of an Al Green song well. At least he does one thing well.
Yeah, just what this country needs: cut the military by 80,000 soldiers and increase unemployment in this already messed-up country.
With all the negative opinions and lies The Eagle publishes on its Opinion Line regarding President Obama, it’s pretty evident the staff has lost its objectivity and is now only catering to the right wing.
Calling the daring rescue of an American-held hostage a “scheme” to help re-elect President Obama may be the single most pathetic item I’ve ever read in Opinion Line – and that’s saying something.
Rep. Tim Huelskamp’s appearance Wednesday on MSNBC just reinforced the fact that Republicans are completely out of touch with the 99 percent. It’s an outright shame that he represents Kansans.
Sadly, many prizes on the TV show “The Price Is Right” are from another time. Americans today no longer use stoves or fit into little cars. You can also forget the sports and exercise equipment.
How insecure does a person have to be to even care what some guy hangs from the back of his pickup truck? And they are Truck Nutz, not “plastic bull testicles.”
