President Obama thinks we should all play by the same rules. I thought we did. It’s called the Constitution. Rich people pay a higher tax rate than poor people, and affirmative action gives preference to minorities. Other than that, don’t we all play by the same rules?
The president says everybody will play by the same rules in his world. I guess that means no affirmative action or government-supported preferential treatment for his preferred constituency.
The rescue of the hostages in Somalia, while the right thing to do, was nothing more than a scheme by Obama to try to get re-elected. That and Osama bin Laden are the only things he can hang his hat on.
Didn’t Michelle Obama ever get asked to the prom? Is that why she wears these shiny, inappropriate dresses to all these functions?
One guy makes $21 million per year, and I’m cold right through the holes in my shoes. But this is a great country because I too can invent something that allows me to make $21 million per year. Wish me luck.
People don’t envy Mitt Romney’s wealth. They’re just not pleased with the way in which he earned it.
Police and fire protection, roads and schools are legitimate functions of state and local government. Things like “the arts” are not.
My husband is a 37-year Boeing worker. I’m looking forward to getting away from Gov. Sam Brownback and his policies that are harmful to women. We may come back and retire here, but only when we have a governor who values education and the arts.
Anyone who thinks passing a few anti-abortion laws will end abortions is sadly deluded. Desperate women have been aborting unwanted pregnancies since the dawn of time. Anti-abortion laws only mean women will die from unsafe abortions.
Brownback said, “Kansas is now a pro-life state, and we’re not going back.” Under Brownback, Kansas has strayed far away from being pro-life. His policies have stripped needed “life” care for children, the disabled and the elderly, and he’s not finished yet. How hypocritical.
If Kansas is becoming a “right-to-life” state, why are so many newborn and young children dying because of their parents’ acts?
How insecure does a guy have to be before he hangs plastic bull testicles off the back of his pickup?
